Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps Performance in Italy, Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, Italy's top maps and navigation applications showcased diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, Navionics® Boating, published by Garmin Italy Technologies, saw a significant decline in weekly revenue from around $58K in early August to approximately $8.6K by the end of September. Weekly downloads also decreased from over 2K in July to below 900 in late September, while active users dropped from above 3K in July to about 2.2K by the quarter's end.

Wikiloc - Trails of the World demonstrated a strong performance with its weekly revenue peaking at roughly $26K in late August. Downloads spiked to over 23K in mid-August, while active users reached a high of around 54K during the same period. Despite a decline towards the end of the quarter, the app maintained a solid user base.

TomTom GO Navigation experienced a stable revenue flow, with a peak of about $12K in early September. However, the app's downloads fluctuated, starting at 1.6K in July and dropping to under 1K by late September. Active users also exhibited a slight decrease, ending the quarter at approximately 9.2K.

Circuit Route Planner saw a notable increase in weekly revenue towards the end of the quarter, peaking at about $12K in mid-September. Downloads and active users showed a varied trend, with downloads fluctuating between 2K and 4.5K, and active users reaching a high of 6.1K in mid-September.

Lastly, Radarbot Speed Camera Detector maintained a steady revenue, peaking at approximately $5K in late August. The app's downloads showed a peak of over 11K in late August, while active users increased to over 36K during the same period, before stabilizing towards the quarter's end.
